Aprilia SR 150 ABS will be available from January 2019, starting price ₹ 82,000

Aprilia SR 150 has identified the funny scooter in the 150cc scooter segment, and now the company is going to provide ABS in this scooter from January 2019. Aprilia SR 150 ABS will start reaching dealerships from the beginning of next year and the company has also started advance booking for this. With the new Aprilia SR 150, now a single-channel anti-lock braking system will be made available, in which the initial exorbitant price of the normal model is Rs 82,000, while for scooters SR 150 Carbon you will have to pay 83,000 rupees. Exorbitant price of scooter top model is 88,000 rupees. This price is more than Rs. 10,000 compared to the previous model.

In the beginning of this year, the company had introduced Aprilia SR 150 and Vespa Range in new connectivity features and color options. Piaggio has introduced a new semi-digital instrument cluster in Aprilia and Vespa Scooters according to the 2019 model upgrade, while the speedometer of the scooter is still anelog pattern. The USB charging port is given below the seat, as well as with Bluetooth connectivity, you can get a lot of information from the 'Aprilia Connect' mobile app by connecting your smartphone to the scooter. It will provide features such as navigation, mobile connectivity, distraction buttons and vehicle tracking by supporting Android and iOS devices.

Apart from the color of the Aprilia SR 150 , the company has not made any major changes. The scooter has a single-cylinder air-cooled engine of 154.8cc. This engine generates 10.25 bhp power at 6750 rpm and 11.4 Nm peak torque at 5000 rpm. The company has equipped the scooter with the CVT unit. Piaggio has given the telescopic forks in the next part of this SR150, while the latter part is hydraulic shock absorber. In this scooter, the company has given better braking even with a sturdy engine. In the next wheel of the scooter, there is a 220 mm single disc and 140 mm drum brake setup in the rear portion.
