Jawa motorcycles booked on 1st 2 days will be delivered by end May 2019
Jawa delivered their first motorcycle in India on 30th March 2019.

Those who have booked Jawa motorcycles are waiting eagerly for delivery. Most buyers booked their Jawa in the first few days of launch, which took place on 15th November 2019.

After delivering the first few bikes on 30th of March 2019, Jawa is now getting ready to deliver the remaining bikes. The following mail has been reportedly sent to Jawa dealers in India;

First Jawa owner in India.
As per the information above, Jawa will deliver motorcycles to only those who have booked on 15th and 16th November. Those who have booked after that, will have to wait till June or later. Those who have booked dual disc, will have to wait till end of June for deliveries to start. This also means that some Jawa dealers might not deliver a single motorcycle till June 2019.

Jawa has not announced the total number of bookings they have received till date. They have also not revealed how many bikes they have delivered in March 2019.

Jawa is offered in three colour options – Maroon, Grey and Black. In comparison, Jawa Forty Two has 6 colour options – Comet Red (Glossy), Nebula Blue (Glossy), Starlight Blue (Matte), Lumos Lime (Matte), Galactic Green (Matte), and Halley’s Teal (Matte). Multiple colour options could be advantageous for Jawa, as it would appeal to a larger audience base. A number of accessories are also available for Jawa twins.

Powering the Jawas is a 293 cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that makes 27 BHP of max power and 28 Nm of max torque. Engine is mated to a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox. Engine has been tuned to deliver optimal mid-range performance and exhaust note is also quite adorable, as it is similar to that of classic Jawa motorcycle.
